This annual tradition is the perfect way to kick-off the holidays with Santa and Mrs. Claus, as well as your friends, family and neighbors. Marietta Square The metro-Atlanta area is going to be filled with the sounds of crackles, pops and low rumbling this Friday night as fireworks light up the night’s sky for America’s Independence Day. This Fourth of July, get ready to experience the energy of Historic Marietta Square for the nation’s favorite holiday!

Kick off the day’s festivities by watching the fantastic Freedom Parade, beginning at 10 a.m. The parade features 110 entries and is expected to entertain an estimated 30,000 spectators. The route for the procession will begin at Roswell Street Baptist Church and travel west on Roswell Street, then north onto East Park Square past Glover Park, down Cherokee Street, and will wrap up on North Marietta Parkway.
