Located in Kennesaw, just north of Marietta, is Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park. Visitors to the park can enjoy a brisk hike or a quick drive to the top of the mountain. A wide variety of activities are available at the park including taking a shuttle bus to the top of the mountain, picnicking, hiking the 18 miles of trails, bird watching or capturing the natural beauty of the park with your camera. Visitors will also find indoor activities that include a 35 minutes movie on the Atlanta campaign and Battle of Kennesaw, a museum with artifacts and a bookstore.
