Traton HomesOct. 11, 2013 is a very special day at Traton Homes. It marks the 95th birthday of Nellie Clifford Poston, the mother of our co-founders, Bill and Milburn Poston and their sister, Marian. In celebration of this special birthday, employees of Traton Homes gathered together for a birthday luncheon on Thursday, Oct. 10, 2013 complete with delicious sandwiches, sides and a beautifully decorated cake from her favorite Marietta restaurants

Mrs. Poston’s strength, determination and business smarts set an example for her sons to follow. When her children were young, she and her husband Red formed Poston Realty & Insurance (later known as Poston, Guthrie and Fowler). When Red passed away following a heart attack in 1963, she continued to run the company and raise their children until she later sold the business. Read More→

Traton Homes wins GuildMaster award for 5th consecutive year

As a top Atlanta home builder, we strive to provide our homebuyers with an ‘Altogether More’ experience, and it’s not going unnoticed. We just received a 2012 GuildMaster with Distinction award. This marks the fifth consecutive year that Traton Homes has received the GuildMaster award.

GuildMaster awards are presented to companies that receive excellent customer satisfaction ratings from GuildQuality, an independent customer satisfaction surveying company. GuildQuality surveys customers, and those companies that receive extremely high customer recommendation rates are honored with a GuildMaster award.

In the home building, remodeling and real estate industry, the average customer recommendation rate is around 70 percent. However, to receive a GuildMaster award, companies must receive a recommendation rate of 90 percent or higher. This distinction demonstrates our long-standing commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

As a GuildQuality member, we are constantly seeking to improve the quality of our customer service by using the surveys’ objective feedback. Read More→
