Marietta New HomesAfter what seemed like a never-ending winter, spring is here and warmer weather is just around the corner. With temperatures expected to be in the mild 60’s this weekend, now is the time to crack open the windows in your kitchen and let the fresh air into your Marietta new home while cooking up the delicious fruits and vegetables of the season. There is nothing better than fresh fruits and vegetables, especially when they are locally grown. This weekend, forget a buggy and stop by the Marietta Square Farmers Market.

With more than 60 local vendors and free parking, the Marietta Square Farmers Market is a great opportunity to enjoy the spring weather while picking up the items on your grocery list. While there, stop by Bray Family Farms and pick up some grass-fed beef, add some flavor to the dish with a spice from Anisa’s Secrets and swing by Straight From My Backyard for some vegetables to complete the meal. After a day enjoying the sights and smells of Marietta Square, bring your items back to your designer Traton Homes’ kitchen and get cooking. Read More→

Cobb County homesEaster is a little over a week away and children of Cobb County homes are getting their baskets ready to hunt down the perfect egg. In addition to hunts at home, school or church, Cobb County children have several community opportunities to hunt for Easter eggs this year. 2013 Easter egg hunts include: Read More→

Cobb County HomesMarch is here and soon your yard will bloom with lilies, pansies, daises and more as the cold of winter melts away to the warmer temperatures of spring. While the yard comes to life with vibrant colors, March is also a good time to get in a little spring cleaning and spruce up your Cobb County home. Since Bleach kills 99 percent of germs, mix ¾ cup of bleach in one-gallon of water and soak your sponges in the mixture for five minutes.
