Now that the fall air is beginning to settle into the Atlanta area, us at Traton Homes are getting excited to see the leaves begin their annual metamorphosis. All throughout Georgia, the temperature will grow crisp and the hillsides will be dotted with shades of yellow, amber and ruby. The tricky part is planning those weekend getaways to see the leaf changes – and to help with that Georgia State Parks has introduced an online Leaf Watch.
The leaf watch website officially starts noting the best places to see the leaves’ color change Oct. 1. In the meantime, you can check out informational sections on why leaves change colors, brush up on your hiking knowledge with some tips and see a calendar of the fall events happening across all the State Parks.
