A home is what you make it. The builder can’t decorate your home or fill it with special memories – that’s up to you. What the builder can do, however, is provide you with the resources to do those things by offering a great floorplan. And Traton Homes, one of Atlanta’s leading new homebuilders, has done just that with the Providence Plan.

This two-story floorplan gives buyers five bedrooms, four baths and a wealth of potential. Things like eating meals with family are made easier thanks to a wonderful kitchen complete with an island, a breakfast area and a large pantry. There is also a separate dining room for sharing stories at dinner. A spacious living room on the first floor gives family members and friends a chance to sit together near a warm fireplace and play board games, sit and chat or watch television. On the second floor, there is a media room that can be transformed into a game room or home theater that is perfect for entertaining guests.

The Providence Plan offers homeowners an incredible master suite that includes a bedroom with trey ceilings and a sitting area, a luxurious bath and a walk-in closet with room to spare. Read More→

Traton HomesClif Poston, Executive Vice President of Traton Homes, got the chance to share a unique and tasty recipe with the Marietta Daily Journal a few months ago. Combining juicy short ribs, a rich barbecue sauce and tangy bleu cheese coleslaw, the ingredients list alone is enough to make you hungry. The short ribs won first place in a cookoff from the Cobb Landmarks & Historical Society. Not only is the recipe tasty, but adaptable to many different purposes as well, such as to eat on nachos or turn into sandwiches.

A warning: don’t read these recipes while hungry.

1 yellow onion
6 garlic cloves
3-4 Tbs Worcestershire sauce
